Hummingbird Vine

  • Plant to the bottom leaf.  If planting on a trellis – plant 3 ft apart.
  • These will flower in the 3rd season. These are shipped  6 – 8 inches tall.
  • They are about 10 ft tall and 6 feet wide when fully mature.

  • Bring inside before any danger of frost. Water only when dry  - Do Not over water. Very few berries will produce the first season. Can be grown inside or out.

 Earliglow Strawberries

  • Plant 1 ft apart in a row – the rows should be at least 2 feet apart. Will produce very few berries the first season. These ship as 1-year roots.

 Empress Trees

  • These ship as 6-10 inch seedlings. Plant 15-20 ft apart.  They will flower in 3-5 years. All leaves will drop at 1st frost. Elephant ear size leaves .
  • Water when soil is dry. These look like a plant and will not have bark until the 2nd year.

  • Start inside in a Sunny window – keep soil moist until it germinates – when 2-3 inches tall. Use 10-30-10 fertilizer  - But, this is not required. These will die if hit by frost. Plant wither is a planter or in the ground.  If planted in the ground – these are a 1 year plant only.

  • Plant 3 “ deep and 8-12 inches apart. These will bloom in late summer – late August or early September.
